The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), also known as the UP Board, has asked schools to help students of Classes 9 to 12 create their APAAR IDs. Schools have also been asked to record these IDs in students’ registration forms.
The move is aimed at making students’ academic records easier to store and access digitally. Marksheets, transfer certificates and other important education documents can be linked to the APAAR ID and kept safely in digital form.
