UGC NET June 2026 Result Out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC-NET June 2026 result. Along with the result, the agency has also published the subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks for 84 subjects. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their result scoreboard and cut-off marks by visiting the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET June 2026 Result Overview & Cut-Off Marks
A total of 7,73,806 candidates registered for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. This included 4,30,195 female candidates (55.59%), 3,43,575 male candidates (44.40%), and 36 third-gender candidates (0.01%).
The examination was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and July 5. The exam was conducted at 655 centres across 286 cities for 87 subjects.
However, the result has been processed for 84 subjects at this stage. The examination for English, Commerce and Sociology will be conducted again on September 9 and 10.

NTA has also released the subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks along with the UGC NET June 2026 result. Candidates can check the cut-off applicable to their subject and category on the official website.
The question papers, provisional answer keys and recorded responses for the 84 subjects were released on August 16. Candidates were allowed to submit objections against the provisional answer keys until August 18.
After receiving the objections, NTA had the challenges examined by subject experts. The final answer keys were then prepared, and the results were calculated based on the final keys.

According to the result data, 4,241 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor.
A total of 45,904 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programmes, while 97,434 candidates have qualified for PhD admission only.
