Millions of farmers are eagerly waiting for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) 24th installment. Under this scheme, the Central Government provides financial assistance to strengthen farmers economically. Eligible beneficiaries will soon receive another ₹2,000 in their bank accounts.
The PM Kisan installment is released once every four months. According to reports, the 24th installment is expected to be transferred in October 2026. However, the government has not yet announced the official release date, although preparations are underway.
Farmers Receive ₹6,000 Every Year
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the world’s largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 every year in three installments.
The amount is released during:
- April to July
- August to November
- December to March
So far, the government has released 23 installments and transferred more than ₹4.28 lakh crore directly to farmers’ bank accounts.

- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must own cultivable agricultural land.

- Retired employees receiving a monthly pension of more than ₹10,000.
- Income tax payers.

- Complete OTP-based e-KYC through the PM Kisan portal from home.
- Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric e-KYC.

- Click on “Know Your Status” or “Beneficiary List”.
- Enter your registration number.
- Select your state, district, and village.
- Submit the details to check your beneficiary status.
