NEET UG MCC Counselling 2026: Round 1 Seat Allotment, Revised Dates at mcc.nic.in

The NEET UG MCC Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result will now be released on August 21, 2026. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for Round 1 of NEET UG counselling.

The seat allotment process covers 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats of Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER and AFMC institutions.

As per the revised schedule, the NEET UG seat allotment process will be conducted on August 19 and 20, 2026. After this process, the Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 21.

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete their reporting and joining from August 22 to August 31, 2026.

How to Check NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026

After the result is released, candidates will be able to check their seat allotment through the official MCC UG Medical Counselling portal.

Steps to Check the Result

Step 1: Visit the official MCC UG Medical Counselling portal.

Step 2: Open the PDF for the Round 1 provisional or final seat allotment result.

Step 3: Use your NEET UG roll number in the result PDF to find your allotted college and course.

Step 4: Log in to the candidate dashboard and download the official seat allotment letter.

Candidates who receive a seat must follow the given reporting and joining schedule. The revised Round 1 reporting period is August 22 to August 31, 2026.

NEET UG MCC Counselling 2026 Round 1 Revised Schedule

Registration and payment for Round 1 were completed from August 5 to August 15, 2026. The choice-filling process was scheduled from August 6 to August 18, while choice locking was scheduled for August 17 and August 18.

The seat allotment process will take place on August 19 and 20, and the Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on August 21, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats must complete their joining by August 31, 2026.

Participating institutes will verify the data of candidates who have joined on September 1, 2026. The revised notice also states that participating institutions and colleges must treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days during the counselling process.

The State DME and State Counselling Authorities will verify the data of joined candidates from August 13 to August 27, 2026. A separate verification by the state authorities is scheduled for September 6, 2026.

Candidates should follow the revised MCC schedule carefully and complete the reporting and joining process within the given deadline.
