Who Is Eligible for the Second Round?
Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round and selected Option 2, while meeting all the required conditions, will be eligible to participate in the second round of seat allocation.
Candidates who were considered for the first round but did not receive a seat will also be automatically considered for the next round.
However, candidates who were eligible for the first round but did not register or did not submit their choices will not be eligible for the second round. Such candidates may, however, be eligible for the Open Round of Seat Allocation.

How Are AIIMS BSc Nursing Seats Allotted?
Seats are allotted based on the candidate’s merit, rank and choices submitted during the counselling process.
Candidates from both the unreserved category and eligible reserved categories may be considered for unreserved seats based on their merit.
For a seat available under a particular category, the candidate with the better rank will be given preference over a candidate with a lower rank.
In the first round, candidates were allotted an institute or seat according to their highest available choice based on their rank.
If a candidate’s preferred institute or seat was available under both the unreserved and reserved categories, the seat was allotted under the unreserved category wherever applicable.
A reserved category seat will be allotted to an eligible reserved category candidate only when their preferred seat is not available under the unreserved category at their rank.
