NEET UG 2026 Results: Over 11 Lakh Candidates Qualified for Medical Admissions
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the detailed statistical data for NEET UG 2026 soon after announcing the results. This year, 22,79,743 candidates registered for the examination, while 19,99,895 candidates appeared. Out of them, 11,21,185 candidates qualified for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied courses.

Compared to NEET UG 2025, registrations increased slightly from 22,76,069 to 22,79,743. However, the number of candidates who appeared dropped sharply from 22,09,318 last year to 19,99,895 this year.
